Free kicks
A curled free kick gives players a much better chance of scoring, and Curl Master helps them learn how to do it properly. Unlike straight shots, a curling ball bends in the air, which makes it harder for goalkeepers to predict. This often causes keepers to move too early or dive the wrong way. Curl Master helps players practise this bending shot again and again, building confidence and consistency. This means more goals, even from tricky angles or longer distances, and a real advantage during free kicks.
Penalties
Penalties are all about confidence and accuracy. Curl Master helps players learn how to add gentle bend to their penalty shots, making it harder for goalkeepers to guess where the ball is going. Because the ball changes direction late, keepers often dive the wrong way. This gives players more control, more confidence, and a better chance of scoring in high pressure moments.
Corners
By adding late movement and consistent curl, players can beat the first man, force goalkeepers into hesitation, and create real chaos in the box. The result is better delivery, more assists, and a far greater chance of turning set pieces into goals when it matters most.
Passing
Passing with curl helps players move the ball around opponents more easily. Curl Master teaches players how to bend passes into space, helping teammates receive the ball more smoothly and keep the game flowing. This leads to better teamwork, fewer lost passes, and more confidence on the ball during matches.
Loughborough University
The Curl Master ONE was tested in controlled trials at Loughborough University, one of the world’s leading institutions for professional sport, human performance, and sports science research. The results below are the highest % improvements on the original recorded results before training with Curl Master. After each 10 kick session on the Curl Master the players were tested again without the Curl Master device.

1
Set Spin
Choose spin direction (in‑swing or out‑swing) and one of six speeds from around 100 to 600 RPM, depending on how much bend you want.
2
Strike The Ball
Place the ball (valve up), take a short angled run up and strike the spinning ball with the inside or outside of your foot, wrapping your foot around it so your kick follows the spin.
3
Repeat
Short sets of 10 kicks build feel and consistency, then you remove the device and reproduce the same curl on a static ball. Controlled trials showed most players improved spin straight away and retained gains when kicking without the device.
